LIVE Multitrack record-playback solution se adreseaza orchestrelor si reprezinta o solutie cat se poate de eficienta de inregistrare/redare in sistem multitrack. Extrem de folositoare atat in studio, cat mai ales in aplicatiile LIVE, solutia multi-backing-track prezinta urmatoarele avantaje:

1. Trupele care folosesc backing-track-uri au posibilitatea de redare, mixare, procesare, simplificare, etc pe canale independente in real time (multitracking insemnand ca fiecare instrument, voce, etc isi are propriul canal) astfel incat sunetistul realizeaza mixajul propriu-zis, sau un eventual sound-check, deopotriva cu prestatia LIVE si pre-recording-ul back-ing.

2. Formatul wave 24 bits/48K (recomandat) asigura calitatea sunetului, iar mixul realizat are o claritate mult mai buna comparativ cu backing-track-urile stereo standard, care nici macar nu mai pot fi editate, sau remixate. Cu alte cuvinte, senzatia de "stick-uiala" este inlaturata, prestatia LIVE fiind primordiala, rezumand backing-track-urile la rolul lor, nu la o facatura grosolana.

3. Orchestra are posibilitatea sa inregistreze LIVE prestatia in sistem multitrack-ing cu pana la 24 de canale independente, care ulterior pot fi post-procesate/mixate si masterizate in studio.

4. O eventuala absenta a unui membru al orchestrei la un show, poate fi imediat suplinita de inginerul de sunet prin folosirea backing track-ului aferent, astfel incat show-ul poate fi realizat in orice conditii, chiar cu minimul de participanti.

5. Este solutia ideala pentru mini-band-uri, eliminand astfel aranjoarele standard si efectul "robotizant".
